Under the influence of the outer circulation of Typhoon "Connie" and the cold air, Shanghai will have heavy rain from 31 to 1, with the process rainfall of 120 to 180 mm and the maximum hourly rainfall of 40 to 70 mm. The precipitation is extreme and may become the largest precipitation process in November since 1981. In addition, the wind gradually increased tonight, tomorrow's maximum land gust of 8 to 9, 10 to 11 in the Yangshan Port area.
Serious waterlogging in some areas of Shanghai has affected the normal operation of the city. According to the request of the drainage center of the Shanghai Water Bureau, the rescue team of the Shanghai Branch of China Aneng Second Bureau as the guarantee team of the seventh Expo, at 11 am on November 1, the rescue team of 15 rescue team members carrying 3 large flood drainage vehicles were quickly in place, and they fought for 6 hours continuously in the National Convention and Exhibition Center, draining 2,000 square meters in total to ensure flood safety during the preparation of the Expo.
