1. Why did the host computer not receive any data?
Check whether the power supply voltage is 7 to 32VDC, the device cable connection, and the communication mode, serial port number, and baud rate are correct. Check whether the communication protocol is operated according to the instructions, and check whether the instructions are correct;
2. Why is the measurement value always zero?
Check whether the radar probe is aligned with the measured target; Whether the measuring distance is within the reasonable range of the probe test.
3. Why do the measured values frequently change dramatically?
Check whether the power supply voltage is too low; Whether there are obstacles in the measuring range; Whether the probe is installed firmly, and whether the radar flowmeter is installed in parallel horizontal planes;
4. Why is the measurement value not updated?
Check whether the water surface freezes due to seasonal reasons; Check whether the measurement is inaccurate due to the low water period or the swing of the main trough causing the radar wave to cover the ground.
5. The measured water velocity was visually below 0.60m/s, but the reading was higher than expected.
Check the effect of wind on the water surface. Wind may have an effect on the measurement of low speed water flows, such as those below 0.50m/s. Try to measure by pointing the radar speed probe at the same spot.
