▋ Product Description

       The leaf surface temperature and humidity sensor has small shape, stable performance and high sensitivity, and is an important tool for studying leaf surface temperature and humidity, preventing infection, insect infestation and spraying irrigation control. Changes in the permittivity of the blade surface are used to accurately monitor trace amounts of water or ice crystal residue, and because of the temperature detection, it is possible to tell whether water or ice crystals are detected. The appearance simulates the real blade design, so it can more accurately reflect the real environment of the blade surface. The product adopts RS485 output, the protocol can be customized, and the atmospheric temperature and humidity, illuminance and other environmental detection elements can be extended.

Measurement Method


        The leaf wetness and temperature sensor measures the temperature and humidity on the surface of plant leaves through changes inthe dielectric constant of the leaf surface. It can accurately detect trace amounts of moisture or ice crystals, and distinguishbetween water and ice crystals due to the inclusion of temperature detection.


Installation Method


 1. Preparation: Ensure the sensor and required installation materials (such as non-metallic wire) are ready.


 2. Positioning: Place the sensor next to the leaves of the plant or tree where monitoring is needed.


 3. Attachment: * Use a non-metallic wire to pass through the small hole at the front end of the leaf sensor.
     * Suspend the sensor on a branch using the wire.
     * Secure the device to the branch or stem using iron wire or another suitable method.  


 4. Connection: * Connect the four-core wire at the bottom of the sensor to the external device.
     * The wire sequence is: Red (power positive, 12-24V), Yellow (485+), Blue (485-), Black (GND).


Application


        Detection of temperature and humidity on the surface of plant leaves can not only prevent bacterial or fungal infections, but also control the retention time of pesticide droplets for pest control, so as to take relevant protective measures for plants or crops.
