▋ Installation Method

1st: The installed air chamber cannot vibrate with the water flow and surge, and must be completely fixed. It is recommended to install it at the lowest water level of 0.5 meters. 

2nd: A protective tube made of stainless steel tube should be used to protect the gas pipe；

 3rd: When installing the protective tube, it is necessary to pay attention not to discount the gas pipe, and do not pull the gas pipe at the other end of the protective tube after passing the gas pipe through the protective tube

1.  Equipment measurement principle?

A: The piston pump produces compressed air, flows through the special air pipe, and enters the air chamber at a set interval. In the air chamber, bubbles rise evenly into the water. There is a linear relationship between the measured liquid level and the air pressure in the measuring tube, which is obtained by conversion.

2. Can the equipment be waterproof? Will water flooding damage the equipment?

A: IP65 protection grade, not waterproof, equipment needs to be installed in the river bank station room.

3. How to install the equipment?

A: The equipment is installed in the river bank monitoring station, the gas pipe is wrapped by galvanized steel pipe, and the air chamber is fixed 50cm from the bottom. Please try not to bend the gas path when installing the gas pipe. The bending degree should be greater than 45 degrees.

4, Why the measurement of water level data error change?

A: Possibly because the underwater gas chamber is not fixed, the jitter of the underwater gas pipe will directly lead to a data error of 20 to 30cm. And the air chamber should be straight down.

5. Why is there no sampling for water level measurement?

A: The gas pipe may be blocked or the gas pipe is not submerged in water, resulting in zero water level, and the air pump automatically shuts down.
